In its September 16, 2026 report, Sports Kyunghyang said Kakao Entertainment announced a strategic partnership with The Walt Disney Company Korea to pursue roughly 10 medium‑to‑long‑term projects combining K‑pop IP with Disney stories and characters. The companies plan collaborations across music, content, performances and commerce and are discussing a tentative “K‑culture Fund,” though the fund’s size and structure were not disclosed.
